July 9, the day before our anniversary, JT told me that he had the day planned for us. This was a big deal. Usually when JT has a secret, it just eats at him until he explodes and tells me several days or weeks before the surprise. So at the point when the time for the surprise comes around, it has lost some of its luster. It's still good-just not as exciting. And here's the thing...I love to be surprised. So, when JT told me that he had the day planned, I was SO excited because I had no idea what we were going to do!
We started off the day by going to Color Me Mine. A few weeks previous, after we had put going to Color Me Mine on our list, JT purchased a groupon for the studio fees. I had no idea. So we showed up to the studio and picked out our pieces. J wanted to make a popcorn bowl, while I chose an artsy vase. We were no where near professional glazers (there were some people there that were crazy artistic), but we had a blast. After which, he took me to a movie and then a delicious lunch. I loved it. It was a great surprise and we checked an item off of our list! Go JT.
Fun! I've never been to Color Me Mine, but I've heard it's way fun. So next time you see Will drop a hint for me...ha ha jk
