Baby Photo Shoot

A week or so ago, my sweet friend Chelsy (blog here, page here) did a lifestyle photoshoot with Lucy and me. Poor baby (and poor Chelsy!) was going through a growth spurt, so she was either screaming, sleeping, or thinking about screaming the entire time. Fortunately, Chelsy is good at what she does, so she was able to capture some great images! Also, I would 100% endorse do a lifestyle shoot with your newborn. Now that I've done a staged newborn shoot and a lifestyle shoot, I can safely say that the lifestyle shoot was SO much more enjoyable. I just did my thing with Lucy and I wasn't stressed about getting her naked, asleep, and then put in a yoga pose. Seriously. It was the best. Just skip the staged shoot. You won't regret it!
