For FHE a couple of weeks ago, JT decided it would be a great time to go to Nickel City. So we invited Logan (J's brother) and headed over. We had a blast and we checked another item off of our list, but I also noticed a few things involving arcades.
1. I'm pretty sure arcades are run by old men. All the employees at Nickel City were old. And awesome.
2. There were a lot of grown men in there playing game...
3. Boys like the shooting games. Ugh. You don't even get tickets when you play those games! I was all about the brightly colored, ticket-giving games. I didn't care if the prizes were lame, I wanted those tickets. Don't let me loose in Vegas.
4. Some people are hardcore about Nickel City and literally bring bags and bags nickels...
5. If you give all of the tickets you got to a little kid as you are leaving, it will make their day...and yours.
We had a blast (minus all of the shooting games) and would definitely go again! So, if any of you are up for some serious Nickel City, give us a call.
