The visit went well until the dentist came in...I had ten cavities and JT had eight. What?!?! How did that happen? Afterwards he explained that we only had a few bigger cavities and the rest were "small cavity spots." (I think he is slightly OCD about "cavity spots.") We came in to get all of the "cavities" fixed a couple days later. Talk about expensive. We will not be visiting the dentist again until we have proper dental insurance. And I'll be honest, my teeth never hurt before I got all of those cavities fixed...and now they kill if I eat anything too sugary. Hmmm. At least we checked another item off our list.
Here is a picture of us after we got our cavities filled. We couldn't feel our faces and my cheeks got a little puffy. Oh, dentists....this is why I do not like to see you.
Question, how did you come up with the goal list and the categories and things? Was there something that you followed to set it up or was it all in your brain?! If you did it on your own, AMAZING! I am totally copying and we are going to do something similar for FHE this coming week!
ReplyDeleteTresann, I totally copied it from other people! I wish I was that original. Haha. I first saw it on this blog http://wonderfulbrowns.blogspot.com/p/101-things-to-do-in-1001-days.html and then I looked at it this blog http://www.onelovelylife.com/?p=2127 as well to get ideas! And then I kind of made the list and categories applicable to us! I love that you are doing it for FHE! Your little family is so darling.
ReplyDeleteOk, my family had that same problem! In high school, we moved from alabama to massachusetts, and didn't go to the dentist for a year. we all had zero or one cavity previous, but our new dentist wanted to fix any potential cavities. i had ten he wanted to fix too! it was ridiculous! he was also redoing his office around then, so we wonder if that's why he wanted to fix everything...
ReplyDeleteThe browns! hahaha that's awesome!!! I had no idea they had a blog!
