Traveling to DC

Since I am finally going through my pictures on my camera, I keep discovering all the fun things we did last

year!  Here are some of the pictures we took while traveling cross-country to DC.  (We took about a week to explore while we drove!)

Hilton Head, SC:  It was fun for me to see the little island where J had spent a summer.  It was definitely geared towards tourist, but it was a nice place to relax and walk on the beach.

This is the restaurant that J worked at the summer between his junior and senior years of high school.  He was able to spend time in Hilton Head, SC and learn a lot about tartar sauce...  

These poor suckers kept getting washed up.  I did not have the guts to touch a  jelly fish  to throw it back into the ocean.

We saw this in a shop and it reminded us of J's brother and dad....they LOVE Chick-fil-A.  Seriously.  They would go every meal if they could.

Muffaletta in SC...not as authentic as New Orleans, but still tasty!

Yummy Greek food in Baton Rouge, LA

We stopped at charming Savannah, GA.  It was really quite charming.  Until it started to shoot pellets of rain for a couple of hours.

This was yummy.  I would suggest it.
