My due date is on Monday! I don't think the reality of how close I am to meeting my sweet baby as fully set in....it seems crazy! I went to my appointment yesterday and they told me that I am dilated to a 3, over 80% effaced, and her head is loooow. Woot Woot! My body is definitely prepping to have this baby. (My family hopes less than a week!) I have heard from many women that they reach a point in their pregnancy where they are very uncomfortable and just ready to give birth. I am only slightly uncomfortable in certain positions, but definitely nothing to complain about. (To be honest, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I am a couple of inches taller than the average woman. Those couple of inches help-baby has a lot more room to grow.) Since I am not too uncomfortable, I have not had any feelings of just wanting to be finished with pregnancy. I'm excited to see what she looks like and to meet her, but I don't feel in a rush. Maybe I also don't feel in a rush because I still have a few things I'd like to clean and JT has a test and projects that he has to finish this week...and because we don't have a name picked out! (Yikes!) It will be exciting to see what this next week brings!
